What is Perimeter Protection?

Most alarm systems use PIR movement sensors as the primary means of detection, which is fine, we have designed and installed literally thousands of PIR based systems over the years and they do a great job.

However, ask yourself this question: Would you rather your alarm system is triggered BEFORE or AFTER the intruder gets into your home?

With our Home Shield alarm system you can add Shock sensors to windows and doors. These Shock sensors are fitted to the door or window frame on the inside of the property and react to impact or vibration. So if an Intruder is trying to break in by forcing the door or window, the Shock sensor is triggered and the alarm is activated BEFORE they get in!

Most of our customers like the idea of Perimeter Protection and have us include a few Shock sensors on a system, usually to key vulnerable windows and doors at the rear of the property, where the vast number of intrusions occur.
