Does remote monitoring affect the response time in case of an actual emergency or break-in?Oftentimes yes. The reason being that if you have received verification to your phone of various zones in your home being triggered that would indicate an intruder roaming the house, you can give this information to the police to assure them it is not a false alarm. If you have a camera PIR sensor and that zone is triggered while the alarm is set, you will have visual proof to provide to the police too which will often speed up response time.
